Do you need help with lymphoedema ? Often when thinking what to do for stopping the swelling and oedema or obtaining specialised lymphoedema information, help and treatment, it becomes quite difficult. Lymphoedema help and treatment requires some specialised assistance over more than one modality in many cases.

You can visit my lymphoedema and skin care clinic for CPT lymphoedema therapy and lymphoedema clearance massage, bandaging or lymphoedema laser therapy. Whether you are able or not to personally attend this clinic it is my aim to provide and assistance to help you reduce your lymphoedema swelling. 

Getting sustainable reductions may take a little time, for just as lymphoedema creeps slowly up on you, long term reductions take time and patience to slip away. Poppy Lane Skin Care & Lymphoedema Clinic provides personalised service information and educational assistance for treatment of Lymphoedema & Lipoedema. The clinic has been in operation since 1998 and constantly researches for new ideas of lymphoedema control. It provides personalised hands on assistance and distance education resources to help with lymphoedema control.

No referral is required to visit the clinic. After your initial visit in many cases we will need to make contact and work in conjunction with your doctor should you decide to use our full services. This is especially so where bandaging or compression garments are indicated.

The basis of lymphoedema treatment to help control oedema, increase mobility and provide you with a personalised lymphoedema control strategy is by the method of Complex Lymphatic Therapy (Casley-Smith Method) which includes;

• lymphatic drainage massage

• compression bandaging and garments once approved by your doctor

• skin care information

• self massage and exercise program

• dietary control

Additionally to assist enhanced result, and where considered beneficial incorporated into your treatment is:

• Low Level Laser therapy

All therapies provided are a personalised service to provide hands on help and education for the most effective long term results.

For those unable to attend the clinic there are self help plans you can perform personally yourself in the privacy of your own home once you have gained the approval of your doctor.
